Betsy Redmond PhD, MMSc, RDN
Betsy has worked in nutrition for two decades, with experience in private practice, lifestyle medicine, and over a decade in research and content development in an integrative and functional laboratory. She holds a PhD in Nutrition from the University of Georgia, a Master’s in Clinical Nutrition from Emory University, and was past chair of Dietitians in Integrative and Functional Medicine, a nutrition practice group of the National Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Betsy is a proponent of strong lifestyle practices and a plant-based – whole foods diet. A higher intake of plant-based foods is associated with better health and lower risk of chronic diseases. She assesses how diet impacts health, and utilizes a personalized approach to build the best recommendations for you.
