Betsy Redmond PhD, MMSc, RDN
I have worked in nutrition for two decades, with experience in private practice, lifestyle medicine, and over a decade in research and content development in an integrative and functional laboratory. I hold a PhD in Nutrition from the University of Georgia, a Master’s in Clinical Nutrition from Emory University, and am past chair of Dietitians in Integrative and Functional Medicine, a nutrition practice group of the National Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. I am a proponent of strong lifestyle practices and a plant-based – whole foods diet. A higher intake of plant-based foods is associated with better health and lower risk of chronic diseases. I assess how diet impacts health, and utilize a personalized approach to build the best recommendations for you.
