In May 2005, Sara founded Inspire Health. She practices physical therapy, specializing in orthopedics, spinal conditions and neuromuscular re-education, in this multidisciplinary and collaborative environment.

Sara is a graduate of the University of Georgia with a Bachelors of Science in Cellular Biology and received her Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. During her physical therapy training, she completed elective coursework specializing in osteopathic manual therapy, orthopedics and athletic conditioning.

As a STOTT PILATES® Certified Instructor; having completed all Level 1 Intensive and Rehabilitation track coursework, she has incorporated pilates into her PT practice since 2003. She has pursued additional training in manual therapy, strain counterstrain techniques, neurodynamics, Redcord Neurac training, and real time ultrasound for biofeedback training of lumbopelvic musculature.

In 2009, Sara became a Board Certified Orthopaedic Specialist, a designation awarded by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties following a minimum of 2,000 hours of practice and passing a certification examination.

From 2006 to 2008 she contributed numerous times to the Good Form feature in the Better Health section of the Atlanta Journal Constitution. Atlanta’s Fox 5 Healthwatch featured Sara and two of her clients in a segment on STOTT PILATES® effectiveness in relieving back pain. Sara has contributed articles on Pilates and spine health to SpineUniverse, an online resource for spine health.

Additionally, Sara has spoken at professional conferences and in the community on spinal health, physical therapy intervention for spine conditions, pilates as a modality in physical therapy practice and general wellness and fitness.
