What is INDIBA

In the fall of 2019 we made an exciting new investment at Inspire Health to support our clinical practice by adding INDIBA services as part of our Physical Therapy regiments. The INDIBA Activ CT9 is a medical device that converts electrical current to a specific frequency of 448 kHz to help reduce pain and swelling, improve mobility, and enable faster healing. One of the most unique qualities of the INDIBA Activ CT9 is that it can be used at any stage of healing, so whether you have an acute injury or something more chronic, INDIBA will help.

INDIBA was developed in Europe and has been thoroughly researched and is widely used in practices across Europe. Many professional athletes and olympic teams utilize the INDIBA CT9 to facilitate faster healing to get athletes back to their sport sooner. It was introduced to the US market and approved by the FDA only three years ago. Several well known professional and collegiate athletic rooms across the US now have an INDIBA CT9 and we are proud to be one of only two clinics in Georgia to have this cutting edge technology!

At Inspire Health we are committed to maintaining an evidence based practice ensuring our clients get the best and most effective care in the shortest amount of time. We are passionate about maintaining our manual therapy skills and discovering new research based modalities to enhance our treatments as medical science and technology evolves.

How it works

The CT9 device converts electrical current into a fixed stable frequency of 448 kHz, increasing cellular ionic exchange which encourages tissue repair and assists in pain management. It is commonly known as “cell therapy” because its benefits reach all the way to down to the cellular level! Studies have shown this cellular exchange results in stem cell proliferation, the building blocks of tissue repair. The CT9 has two operational modes and adjustable power output enabling the clinician to safely use it at all stages of healing with sub thermal or thermal effects.
